I’m Jonas Pelzer, a designer and developer mainly based in Berlin.

My ongoing projects include the site builder temper, the web design gallery collected, the JS library slideFrame, and my type foundry Jonas Type.

Recently, I was involved in research projects on visual expression in web design and the history of the Latin alphabet.

Other recent projects include microsites for my typefaces Scope and Fictional,
as well as the digital poetry publication Post-Self-Evident Poems.

Selected commissioned work includes Lederer Ragnarsdóttir, We Make Things, Kai Tietz, Klimaschau, JB10X, Baupiloten, Natalie Schneider Styling, and Chris Noltekuhlmann.

I have taught at the design faculties of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and the Peter Behrens School of Arts, and I have conducted workshops and given talks at universities, organizations, and events internationally.

My work has been featured in numerous publications, such as Communication Arts, PAGE Online, It’s Nice That, Awwwards, Hover States, and One Page Love.
